KUWAIT ROAD DRIVE
However skilled a man may call himself in driving; I personally do not get impressed by their performance on the road! My ordeals on Kuwait roads has been and still is... stressful, frustrating and a painstaking "event"!
The safe senseless drivers whether they ahead of me or behind me (shivers if I have 1 ahead and 1 behind). Who are these drivers? You would know as you read. First and foremost, SHE scares you on the road. She assumes she can switch lanes while there is a car in motion in the lane she intending to shift. She assumes it is her turn (especially on the highways). She assumes she is a perfectionist with her multi-task efforts coupled with driving - mobiling or make-uping! And honestly, 8/10 women drivers are successful mobile holders while driving (leave alone bluetooth). We can't help our talking ability, can we?!! It sure adds to your style; for me you further establish the fact that women are simply dumb. Oh, and actually, yes, I have noticed women sweep into lanes... Once again, that did not impress me on a "no-traffic-road"; though your car did. Women, I love the cars you drive (mostly)! Ladies, you really have other skills you can work and polish on. Trust me! You can avoid "senseless" accidents. You can take a survey with your friends circle and see where female drivers stand...! *sigh*
Its not like men driving... I would have more confidence in a man driving. His calculations seem more appropriate (With reference to mature sensible men). Over confident men having accidents makes sense. They speed, have a horrendous accident and if lucky enough they die. The unlucky lot stay handicapped at a young age, lifelong; just to traumatize their folks in taking care of them day and night. Not to mention the car is wasted too. In addition to this, they successfully handicap the unfortunate victims or gift them an untimely death. (You speed, you die, drag along a victim(s) with you!) Or even worse... the accused recovers and the victim dies a painful death leaving behind a sorrow filled family! Hmmm, looks like it is better being senseless...
I am not a professional driver. I drive to reach my destinations, safe; though I am worried about the other person not being safe. Personally, I have had instances with both genders. While I am not on the fast track and a driver is just at my bumper (I should assume the gender to be male), I let go off my accelerator (just to let them know - No, I am not moving. If you in a hurry, take the fast lane). Lately, I was made fun of for my U-turns. Now, I would give you 15-30 seconds on a busy road (of course not highways) to give me way. Or else, being a woman, I would have to take out my SCARE weapon and butt in slowly and find my way through. I guess many of us would do the same.
The ordeals continue; as I still have many acts to witness. I have seen an elderly woman been hit by a speedy car and she went way too high up (say half of that tall light pole) and bang on the barracks. I was shaken up witnessing that; As my car passed by, she was lying there... motionless!
Once, I even had a car (sorry a jeep or an AVALANCHE come towards me at a round-about!!!)
These stunt drivers make me feel - I am next (Final Destination) *shivers*
P.S.: A well done visual message @
